AdvaMed Names Zimmer CEO David Dvorak Board Chairman

The Advanced Medical Technology Association has announced David C. Dvorak, president and CEO of Zimmer, has been named chairman of the AdvaMed board of directors, according to a news release.

Mr. Dvorak will serve in this position for a two-year term. He succeeds Abbott Medical Optics President Jim Mazzo, who led the organization since 2010.

 

Mr. Dvorak has been an active member of the AdvaMed board since 2006 and served as the chair of AdvaMed’s orthopedics sector since 2004. For the past two years he chaired AdvaMed’s payment and healthcare delivery committee.
