RMS gives Access MediQuip the ability to check for device recalls re-surgery, at the time of surgery and postoperatively throughout the lifetime of the implant. The company also uses a large proprietary surgical database to link recalled devices to patients, facilities, physicians and health plans to identify them immediately about affected patients when a recall occurs.
The system is HIPAA-compliant.
