Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, Ind., has achieved accreditation by The Joint Commission, according to a Valparaiso Life report.

The hospital underwent an unannounced inspection by Joint Commission investigators. The accreditation awarded to Porter Regional Hospital indicates the hospital’s compliance to The Joint Commission’s standards for patient safety and quality.
