According to the “Deloitte 2013 Survey of U.S. Physicians”, 60 percent of physicians believe that they had the greatest influence over device purchasing decisions. URAC asks for public response to its accountable care accreditation system.
URAC, an independent, non-profit accreditation, organization has given the public until May 17, 2013, to share thoughts on its Accountable Care Accreditation Standards and Measures, which is designed to help healthcare providers offer high quality, low cost services.
AAAHC releases colonoscopy patient outcome statistics.
According to the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, 97 percent of colonoscopy patients receiving the procedure in an ambulatory setting felt they were able to schedule the procedure at a convenient time and 100 percent reported having an acceptable understanding of the procedure.
