Survey: Health Data Management Strategy Drives Profitability

Failing to effectively manage health data causes healthcare providers to lose an average of $70.2 million each year, according to a study reported in InformationWeek.

Of the 333 C-level executives surveyed by Oracle, 63 percent said their top priority includes improving the ability to translate data into insight; 50 percent said they are designing tools to collect more accurate data; and 47 percent are customizing systems and applications to better meet their needs.
