Ohio’s US Endoscopy Receives State Grant to Aid in Planned Expansion

Mentor, Ohio-based US Endoscopy, a maker of gastrointestinal medical devices, has received a $100,000 state grant from the Ohio legislature to help the company add 150 jobs and expand its operations over the next three years, according to a report in The News-Herald.

Last month, the company announced a $4.7 million expansion plan, which the grant will help fund. The plan is expected to add $1.7 million in tax dollars, according to the report.

US Endoscopy will also invest in new equipment and machinery in addition to adding jobs.
