1. Ebola victim’s family settles with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital
The family of Thomas Eric Duncan — the first patient diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S. and died as a result of the virus — reached a “resolution” with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas after alleging the hospital had not taken all of the necessary steps to save Mr. Duncan’s life.
