The 2012 survey is based on responses from 252 healthcare employees, including physicians, administrators and other healthcare professionals. Here are some other key findings:
• 47 percent of respondents believed there are fewer healthcare jobs available, while 18 percent said there are more.
• 58 percent of respondents felt confident in their employability, saying they were confident they could find a job.
• 66 percent of healthcare employees felt confident in the financial health of their company.
• 80 percent of employees said it’s unlikely that they will lose their job compared with 8 percent who felt it was likely.
