Mr. Clemens will be based at the company’s offices in Birmingham, Ala. He served previously as CFO of Caremark, a national prescription benefit management company that merged with CVS in 2007.
SCA owns and manages 144 ambulatory surgery centers, surgical hospitals and hospital surgery departments in partnership with approximately 2,200 physicians and 21 leading non-profit health systems in 31 states.
