The independent ASC features two operating rooms designed for joint, spine and pain management procedures, according to a Jan. 24 press release from Medline.

As part of the five-year agreement, the ASC has access to Medline’s medical surgical portfolio,  including custom surgical packs, pharma, ASC capital and other necessary equipment and supplies.

The center’s team members will also have the ability to monitor key metrics such as item utilization, contract compliance, price accuracy and spend by product categories through Medline’s analytics platform.

Medline first forged a partnership with the ASC in 2020, when it helped to open the facility by improving inventory and easing clinician workloads. Medline also has a partnership with the ASC’s sister location in Indianapolis.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
