Five things to know:
1. The Zenition mobile C-arm platform combines innovation in image capture, processing and ease of use, which Philips previously employed with the Azurion platform.
2. Designed to maximize time in the operating room, the Zenition will be introduced in the U.S., Germany, Austria and Switzerland during the first half of this year. The company plans to roll out the technology in other markets in the future.
3. Zenition mobile C-arm is easy to move between operating rooms and position around the patient. It can be used for multiple procedures.
4. The system includes the Position Memory feature and BodySmart software to capture consistent images and reduce the need for C-arm positioning by 45 percent.
5. The system has both the CE Mark and FDA clearance.
