Medline, ROi enter into strategic agreement: 4 key notes

Medline entered into two new agreements agreement with Resource Optimization & Innovation through the company’s pre-commitment program.

Here are four things to know:

1. The program is designed to generate value for members through high quality, clinically validated supplies sourced at the lowest possible price. The members commit to a certain volume before purchasing.

2. ROi has more than 250 hospital and 2,800 non-acute care facility members across the U.S. The company plans to work closely with Medline to deliver value.

3. The agreement, which takes effect on Feb. 1, 2018, will last for three years and include products related to wound care and incontinence treatment.

4. Medline hopes the alignment will drive better clinical outcomes with competitive pricing.
