OneBlood, a nonprofit blood center, signed a distribution agreement with Medline.
Here's what you should know:
1. Medline and OneBlood entered into a three-year agreement, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
2. The agreement will provide OneBlood cost savings on a variety of medical-surgical supplies. The agreement covers protective apparel, exam gloves and medical consumables.
3. Medline's Vice President of National Accounts Joe Waldron said, "Medline is committed to providing high quality supplies to ensure OneBlood is able to perform at their very best. As a leading manufacturer of medical-surgical supplies, we are dedicated toward utilizing our supply chain expertise to allow OneBlood to achieve their saving initiatives."
