4. The system features radiolucent insertion handles for treating complex fractures, facilitating intraoperative and X-ray visualization and assisting with guide wire.
5. DePuy designed the system to address distal cortical impingement — which can result when patient’s femoral anatomy curvature is greater than the nail curvature — by reducing the rate of nail curvature to more closely match the patient’s anatomy.
