Banner Health names new chief supply chain officer

Phoenix-based Banner Health has appointed Ryan Koos as senior vice president and chief supply chain officer. 

In the role, Mr. Koos will oversee all aspects of the health system’s supply chain, including ordering, distribution, inventory, strategy of sourcing and contracting, according to a June 16 news release from Banner Health. 

Mr. Koos has more than two decades of experience in healthcare supply chain management, most recently serving as vice president and chief supply chain officer of Sharp Health Care.

Banner Health has 33 hospitals and more than 450 additional care sites, including outpatient surgery centers, the release said.
