She shared the following supply chain tip with Becker’s ASC Review:

“Some ASCs try to gain efficiencies by relegating supply chain tasks to clinical or clerical staff. While it’s not necessarily incorrect to have non-supply chain professionals performing supply chain activities, it is imperative that a solid program is in place with proper systems, training and ongoing coaching.”
