ASC supply chain tip of the day: Reduce shelf space in your storeroom

ASCs can optimize efficiency and save space through a pack program,  according to Cardinal Health’s Mandie Shipp, senior consultant in clinical operations. Combining the most-used supplies into a procedure pack can streamline operations and reduce supply costs.

“By consolidating all of the items you need for each procedure pack, you’ll minimize the need to keep bulk stock in your storeroom .”
