ASC software providers collaborate to improve integration, interoperability — 4 things to know

Software providers HSTpathways and Casetabs are collaborating to develop more efficient, functional products for U.S. surgery centers.

Four things to know:

1. Casetabs and HSTpathways will share ideas and work to align their respective platforms with each other.

2. The companies designed a “bi-directional integration” to improve practice scheduling and schedule accessibility for physicians and patients.

3. The collaboration has a threefold aim, according to HSTpathways founder and CEO Tom Hui: to simplify the technology, lower the cost of interoperability and improve integration reliability.

4. Casetabs’ offerings include collaborative scheduling, surgery board tracking, analytics and patient engagement tools. HSTpathways’ products include an EHR tailored to ASCs, a revenue cycle management tool for anesthesia practices and ASC practice management software.
