2. Before the acquisition, both companies modernized their EHR platforms. Once combined, eMDs anticipates deploying several new technologies.

3. eMDs is rebranding the venture to eMDs and Aprima, an eMDs company until the integration is finalized.

4. eMDs CEO Derek Pickell will lead the new entity. Aprima CEO Michael Nissenbaum will serve as an advisory during the transition.
