Here’s what you should know:

1. Dr. Brooks will oversee the delivery of BostonSight treatment solutions to patients with ocular surface diseases.

2. He founded The Dry Eye Center at Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons in Fishkill, N.Y.

3. Dr. Brooks specializes in treating dry eye related to autoimmune issues.

4. After earning a medical degree from Medford, Mass.-based Tufts University, he completed a residency at Long Island, N.Y.-based North Shore Hospital and a fellowship at New York City-based Mount Sinai Medical Center.
