3 companies, hospitals hiring ASC supply chain leaders

Supply chain leaders play an essential role in day-to-day surgery center operations. Here are three hospitals, health systems and companies hiring supply chain leaders:

1. United Surgical Partners International. USPI is looking for a materials management director to work in the Saint Thomas Surgery Center Midtown in Nashville, Tenn. Specific responsibilities include just-in-time supply chain management and reducing costs. The ideal candidate has five years of materials management experience and hospital or ASC management experience. Read more about the position here.

2. University of Texas Austin. The University of Texas Austin is looking for a supply chain professional to serve as a materials manager in its UT Health Austin Ambulatory Surgery Center. The materials manager will prepare and process all supply orders for the ASC, manage vendor relationships and coordinate medical equipment inspections. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or a similar field and three years of supply chain management experience. Read more here.

3. Holy Redeemer Hospital. The Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, Pa. is looking for a materials manager for its ASC. The materials manager will monitor inventory and contain costs, among other responsibilities.
