Dr. Campbell allegedly defrauded Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas by billing these companies for more expensive services than were actually provided to patients. She has also been charged with altering medical records to cover up the fraudulent activity after authorities requested those documents.
Dr. Campbell faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
