Wright Medical Group announced the introduction of its PROPHECY Pre-Operative Navigation Guides for total knee replacement surgery, according to a Wright Medical news release.
The PROPHECY technology uses patient imaging to create patient-specific, one-use surgical guides intended to increase the accuracy of implant alignment.
The company says the technology will allow surgeons to plan implant alignment before an operation and will be fully available in Spring 2009.
