SourceMedical Announces Partnership with Encircle Healthcare to Offer Insurance Verification

SourceMedical and Encircle Healthcare have announced the formation of a new partnership to offer an automated insurance verification solution to ASCs called SourcePlus Eligibility, according to a SourceMedical news release. 

SourceMedical's SourcePlus Eligibility automates the processes used to verify coverage and automatically verifies a patient's benefits in real-time as cases are scheduled into an ASC's SourceMedical application, eliminating the need for phone calls to insurers or direct data entry into multiple Web sites, according to the release.

"We have seen an increasing awareness within the healthcare industry of the fact that by better utilizing the Internet to automate communications and data exchange between stakeholders, facilities can gain significant cost savings and boost productivity," Ron Pelletier, vice president of market strategy of SourceMedical's Surgery Division, said in the release. "SourcePlus Eligibility changes the game for our clients by allowing them to completely eliminate the labor intensive processes and replace them with smart, money-saving Web-based automation."

SourcePlus Eligibility is currently integrated with SourceMedical's AdvantX, Vision and SurgiSource applications, enabling facilities to automate the entire process of obtaining verification of coverage and benefits details for their patients.
