Wolters Kluwer Health has announced Oklahoma City-based Digestive Disease Specialists has selected its ProVation MD software for gastroenterology procedure documentation and coding.
ProVation MD, which is available for a full range of specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to document procedures at the point of care, according to a company news release.
"Digestive Disease Specialists is dedicated to quality and excellence, as evidenced by its accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.," said Arvind Subramanian, CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health, Clinical Solutions division, in the release. "We are pleased that it has selected ProVation MD for GI to provide streamlined documentation and coding for gastroenterology procedures and to further its mission of providing state-of-the-art endoscopic procedures in a safe, efficient and customer-friendly environment."
Digestive Disease Specialists provides diagnostics and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus, peptic ulcer disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome, colon cancer and hepatitis. It has facilities in Yukon, Midwest City, Edmond and nine facilities in the greater Oklahoma City area.
