Amerinet Names Lori Pilla Vice President of Amerinet Clinical Advantage

Amerinet, a national healthcare group purchasing organization, has announced Lori Pilla has been named vice president of Amerinet Clinical Advantage, according to an Amerinet news release.

 

Amerinet describes the Clinical Advantage as "a collaborative contracting strategy that reduces surgical implant costs while improving clinical outcomes by engaging surgical staff in the purchasing process."

 

Ms. Pilla has more than 20 years of executive clinical and administrative healthcare experience. She joins Amerinet after directing contract design, materials management and business operations for organizations such as Ascension Health System, MedAssets and St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis. She was the clinical director for SurgCenter Development. Ms. Pilla also has a decade of clinical experience as an OR, pre-, post-operative and neurology nurse. She was also the core manager of surgical quality education and training at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

 

"Lori has an outstanding record of profitably helping healthcare organizations nationwide improve the cost-effectiveness and quality of their contract portfolios," said Randy Walter, executive vice president, enterprise solutions, in the release. "Her professional expertise in strategic planning and creative negotiation, combined with extensive clinical knowledge of physician preferences and regulatory issues, enables her to comprehensively understand and manage every aspect of the supply chain."
