The second highest year on record, 2023 saw huge PE interest in life sciences and biopharma sectors.

Here are three more key notes that ASC leaders need to know:

  1. The first half of 2022 saw a continuation of 2021’s record-breaking healthcare private equity deal pace, but transactions slowed in the second half of the year.
  2. Value-based care and primary care continued to draw investment from private equity groups.
  3. More than 40 exits valued above $500 million were closed in 2022.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
