Roberta Kalafut, MD, a pain physician with Spine Abilene (Texas) was recently honored with the Abilene Philharmonic Association Volunteer of the Year Award.
Dr. Kalafut has served on several committees for the Abilene Philharmonic Association and raised thousands of dollars with her charitable work. She is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain medicine. She was the first female president of the Texas Medical Board and is a member of the North American Spine Society.
