County commissioners in Lake County, Fla., are extending a ban on new pain management clinics until Oct. 1, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.
The ban on granting permits for new pain management clinics was set to expire last week, but County officials say they need more time to examine what local regulations could help prevent the use of pain clinics as pill-mills, according to the report.
