Peter S. Staats, MD, received an award for clinical excellence from his fellow physicians at Pain 2013, a pain management conference held by the West Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, according to an Asbury Park Press report.
Dr. Staats is a managing partner of Shrewsbury, N.J.-based Premier Pain Centers, a pain management practice with eight locations throughout New Jersey. He also founded the division of pain medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.
