Intersect ENT names new leadership

 

Menlo Park, Calif.-based Intersect ENT has appointed new executive leadership, according to a Nov. 17 press release.

Patrick Broderick was named executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, the release said. He has more than 30 years of experience in leadership and was most recently general counsel, chief compliance officer and secretary at Grail, a healthcare company focusing on early cancer detection.

Reyna Fernandez was named chief human resource officer, the release said. She joins from Endologix, a medical technology company. At Endologix, she helped the company with restructuring due to the pandemic. Ms. Fernandez was also vice president of human resources at Canon Medical Systems and vice president of human resources at Johnson & Johnson.

"I am most impressed with Patrick's passion for serving as a trusted adviser to CEOs, executive management teams and board of directors, as well as Reyna’s passion for people with a focus on organization design, employee engagement, coaching and talent development," said Tom West, Intersect ENT president and CEO, in the release. "Both Patrick and Reyna are outstanding additions to our organization, bringing experience, intelligence and commitment to making a difference in healthcare. I look forward to having both on the leadership team."

They will begin their roles Nov. 30, the release said.
