An ENT who served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and nine more physicians to know:

Andrew Chuma, MD. Chester County Otolaryngology and Allergy Associates Exton (Pa.). Dr. Chuma's expertises includes balloon sinuplasty, cancer of the nasal cavity and allergic rhinitis. He was recognized by America's Top Doctors from 2015 to 2017.

Jose Dutra, MD. Robert Lurie Cancer Center (Chicago). Dr. Dutra specializes in thyroid cancer and surgery, along with head and neck surgical oncology. He received his medical degree from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

Barry Jacobs, MD. Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeons of Western New England (Springfield, Mass.). Dr. Jacobs received his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He completed his residency at Tufts Medical Center.

John LaFrentz, MD. Huntsville (Ala.) Ear, Nose & Throat Physicians. Dr. LaFrentz joined Hunstville ENT Physicians in 2003. He served as a Major in the Medical Corps of the United State Army and was awarded the U.S. Army Meritorious Service Medal.

Neelesh Mehendale, MD. Ear, Nose & Throat Associates of Texas (Frisco). Dr. Mehendale's special interests include pediatric ENT disorders and head and neck oncology. He's an assistant professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Veteran’s Administration Hospital, both in Dallas.

Stephen Park, MD. University of Virginia Health (Charlottesville). Dr. Park's clinical practice includes treating skin cancer, deviated septums and facial plastic reconstruction. He's received numerous awards including the Ira P. Tresley Award for Best Research in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Mark Prince, MD. University of Michigan Health (Ann Arbor). Dr. Prince received his medical degree and completed his residency at Dalhousie University Medical School in Canada. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces as a medical officer.

J. Thomas Roland Jr. MD. NYU Otolaryngology Associates (New York City). Dr. Roland treats adults for conditions including Meniere's disease, ear tumors and facial palsy. He's a professor at New York University Grossman School of Medicine in New York City.

Howard Stupak, MD. Jacobi Medical Center (New York City). Dr. Stupak's clinical interests focus on all areas of facial surgery. He's an associate professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and department chair at Jacobi Medical Center.

Lauren Zaretsky, MD. ENT and Allergy Associates (Port Jefferson, N.Y.). Dr. Zaretsky is a member of the ENTA Board of Trustees and has more than 25 years of experience in otolaryngology. She was also named division chief of otolaryngology at Port Jefferson-based St. Charles Hospital
