Orthopedic surgeon James Loging, MD, completed the procedure using Smith & Nephew’s Navio Surgical System.

He had experience using the surgical system before he introduced it at the surgery center.

“The Navio robotics-assisted system offers truly amazing precision,” Dr. Loging said in a LinkedIn post. “Very fortunate and proud to have been able to expand use in our outpatient surgery center and offer this cutting-edge technology to our patients in a cost-effective facility.”
