1. Mr. Carson sustained a high ankle sprain that possibly tore his syndesmotic ligaments. His surgery was a success. His rehabilitation timetable is yet to be determined.

2. Dr. Khalfayan is the Seahawks’ orthopedic team physician. He serves in the same position for the Seattle Mariners.

3. Dr. Seibert is a foot and ankle specialist who practices at Seattle-based Orthopedic Physician Associates.

4. The Seattle Surgery Center is among the largest freestanding ASCs in the Pacific Northwest. It was founded in 1988, but relocated to its current site in 1993. The center has seven operating rooms.
