Cincinnati-based Mayfield Spine Surgery Center performed 3.2 percent of the country's spine surgeries in 2022, according to a June report Definitive Healthcare. 

In May, Healthgrades released an inaugural list of the best hospitals nationwide for outpatient hip, knee and total joint replacements. 

The average cost of a knee arthroscopy with cartilage removal at an ASC is $3,412, compared to $5,226 at a hospital outpatient department, according to data from Sidecar Health's care price calculator. 

 Specialists One-Day Surgery Center in Syracuse, N.Y., performed 1.6 percent of the ASC industry's total joint replacements in 2022, according to a May report from Definitive Healthcare. 

On May 5, Fort Worth, Texas-based Medical City Surgery Center completed its 100th total joint replacement case and added a Stryker Mako robot for total and partial knee arthroplasties.
