Infirmary Health's Daphne (Ala.) Surgery Center has completed its first total knee replacement surgery, led by Gulf Orthopaedics surgeon Jay Savage, MD, according to a Feb. 2 report from Gulf Coast Media.

Medtech company Stryker has reported an 11.1% increase in net sales for 2023, reaching $20.5 billion.

Surgical technology company OrthAlign recorded a record $50 million in global revenue during the 2023 fiscal year, according to a Jan. 9 news release from the company.

In its final rule, CMS added 11 procedures to the ASC-covered list that were not included in the proposed rule, including total shoulder arthroplasty.
