Evan Ellis, MD, performed an arthroscopic knee surgery on the right knee of Portland Trailblazers' two-way signee C.J. Wilcox at Vancouver-based Southwest Washington Surgery Center.
Here's what you should know:
1. Mr. Wilcox will miss between six and eight weeks.
2. Dr. Ellis is an orthopedic surgeon with an interest in knee, shoulder and sports medicine procedures. He is the co-team physician for the Portland Trail Blazers.
3. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accredited Southwest Washington Surgery Center.
4. The center is associated with PeaceHealth also based in Vancouver.
