5 things to know about OrthoAtlanta’s newest orthopedic surgeon

OrthoAtlanta added Obi U. Osuji, MD, to its orthopedic and sports medicine practice in Gwinnett and Johns Creek.

Here are five details to know about Dr. Osuji:

1. Dr. Osuji specializes in general orthopedics and joint replacement, including direct anterior approach total hip arthroplasty, robotic total hip arthroplasty and hip arthroscopy.

2. He received his medical degree from the Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford University School of Medicine.

3. Dr. Osuji completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Washington, D.C.-based Howard University Hospital.

4. He completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Greenville, S.C.-based Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas.

5. Dr. Osuji is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association, among others.
