1. The donation is part of a two-year commitment to supply the hospital with $500,000 of surgical equipment.

2. Twenty to 30 total knee replacements will be performed on each trip.

3. Zimmer Biomet donated 100 implants, enough inventory for one year, to the hospitals.

4. The company partnered with the organization Faith in Practice to make the donation.

5. Zimmer Biomet will send a surgical team along with the implants to perform the surgeries.
