Valley Health System opens glaucoma center at New Jersey practice

Paramus, N.J.-based Valley Health System opened a glaucoma center of excellence at its Valley Medical Group ophthalmology practice in Ridgewood, N.J.

The center specializes in traditional and minimally invasive procedures, including the treatment of glaucoma suspect, primary open-angle glaucoma and secondary glaucoma, according to an Aug. 26 news release. 

The new facility is led by Tanya Fooks, MD, who has more than 14 years of experience as an ophthalmologist.

Valley Medical Group offers care in nearly 30 specialities across more than 20 towns in New Jersey and New York, according to its website.
