Southwestern Eye Center Acquires Southwest Eye Clinics

Southwestern Eye Center, based in Mesa Ariz., has announced it has acquired Southwest Eye Clinics in Las Cruces and Santa Teresa, N.M., according to a news release.

The owner of Southwest Eye Clinic — Robert Villalobos, MD — will remain with the practice, as will Paul Gomez, OD. They will be joined by Southwestern Eye Center founder L. Lothaire Bluth, MD, a cataract surgeon.

 

Southwestern Eye Center has one other New Mexico location in Deming. It has 23 locations in Arizona.
