NVISION has 15 locations throughout Southern California. Dr. Baerveldt will be performing surgery at the Laguna Hills and Newport Beach NVISION locations.
Dr. Baerveldt is the developer of the Baerveldt glaucoma implant and also invented Trabectome, a minimally invasive glaucoma surgical instrument for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma.
Dr. Baerveldt received his MD from University of Pretoria and completed a residency in ophthalmology at University of the Witwatersrand. He has held positions at Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California, Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Gavin Herbert Eye Institute in Irvine.
