Ophthalmologist Dr. Shachar Tauber Receives AAO’s Achievement Award

Ophthalmologist Shachar Tauber, MD, has received the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Achievement Award, according to a Springfield News-Leader report.

The Achievement Award program “recognizes individuals who participate in the scientific programs at the Annual Meeting and encompasses more than 25 categories of contribution to the Academy,” according to the AAO.

 

Dr. Tauber practices out of Mercy Clinic Eye Specialists in Springfield, Mo., according to his bio. He received his MD from Tulane University, completed his residency at Wilson Memorial Hospital and a fellowship at Ophthalmic Associates.
