Ophthalmologist Dr. Philip Geetter Dead at 68

Ophthalmologist and eye surgeon Philip H. Geetter, MD, has died, according to an Intelligencer obituary.

Dr. Geetter died Aug. 12. He was 68.

 

Dr. Geetter founded Bucks Mont Eye Associates in Sellersville, Pa. He served on the medical staff of Grand View Hospital, St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital and Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia. He also served as past president of the Grand View Hospital medical staff and was president of the Inter-County Ophthalmic Society.

 

Dr. Geeter was a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., and Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his medical internship at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego, and completed his ophthalmological residency at Jefferson Medical College.
