Ophthalmologist Dr. Gwen Sterns Receives Two AAO Awards

Ophthalmologist Gwen Sterns, MD, has received two awards from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, according to a Brighton-Pittsford Post report.

AAO awarded Dr. Sterns with the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Honor Award and the 2012 Secretariat Award for special contributions to AAO.

 

Dr. Sterns is chief of ophthalmology for the Rochester (N.Y.) General Health System.
