New Jersey eye group adds 7th ASC

New Providence, N.J.-based PRISM Vision Group added an ASC in Maryland to its network.

The eye care services organization added Friendship Ambulatory Surgery Center in Chevy Chase, Md., according to a Sept. 4 news release. 

The 7,000-square-foot surgery center includes four operating rooms, offering multi-specialty ophthalmic surgery. 

Michael Lai, MD, PhD, and Emily Morin, MD, serve as medical directors at Friendship Ambulatory Surgery Center. 

With the addition, PRISM Vision Group supports seven ASCs, 90 eye care practice locations and 185 affiliated physicians, the release said.
