Neurotech Pharmaceuticals has expanded its board of directors to include several ophthalmology experts — Eugene de Juan, Jr., MD, and Lester Kaplan, PhD.
Rhett Schiffman, MD, former Allergan vice president and therapeutic area head for ophthalmology, has also joined the company.
Dr. de Juan is a retinal surgeon, inventor and entrepreneur. He is the vice chairman of ForSight labs. Dr. Kaplan is the former executive vice president and president of research and development and a board member of Allergan.
