Mississippi Vision Correction Center Adds LenSx Laser

Mississippi Vision Correction Center has purchased a LenSx laser, a piece of equipment that allows physicians to use 3D image-guided technology to perform precise incisions that would normally be made with a blade, according to a release.

William Aden, MD, Brannon Aden, MD, and Chris Covington, MD, began using the laser in April and have since performed almost 200 LenSx procedures.

According to the report, cataract surgery is the most commonly performed surgery in the United States, with over 3 million procedures performed annually.
