Hickory, N.C.-based Graystone Eye has signed a prime vendor agreement with Medline.

Through the agreement, Graystone’s surgery center and physician offices will have access to Medline’s portfolio, supply chain workflows and analytics platforms, according to a May 16 news release.

Services provided at Graystone’s practices include cataract, refractive, cornea, retina, pediatric, glaucoma, oculoplastic and optometry services and procedures.

Medline has been partnered with the surgery center since 2012, but will expand services to the physician practices under the new agreement.

Graystone Eye has four locations throughout North Carolina, including a surgery center, and supports 13 ophthalmologists, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
