Private Equity Firm Acquires Rhode Island Surgery Center

Candescent Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, has announced it has acquired Koch Eye Associates, an eye care services provider in Rhode Island, according to a Candescent Partners news release.

The acquisition includes a surgery center. Koch operates seven locations throughout Rhode Island, providing services ranging from optometry to LASIK surgery to cataract surgery, which is performed in a company-owned surgery center.

 

The surgery center, St. James Surgery Center, is based in Warwick, R.I., according to the Koch Eye Associates website. The ASC includes two ORs and two laser rooms.

 

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
